Their products have been around for over a decade at this point. Adobe has the largest product line around reading PDFs. I open a document which reads out fine in the web browser, and that also reads fine when I first open it as an email attachment on my phone, but as soon as I copy it to adobe fill and sign, each page shows up as one image so I can’t tap on the area that I need to enter text in. I downloaded this app hoping it would solve that problem and be an improvement over the web version, which says it has accessibility settings but often shows the document as completely blank. I’ve opened PDFs on browsers and had them read fine, while the issue there was that you couldn’t click and edit them. Lastly, it would be nice to be able to use the Pencil instead of my finger to do the field inserts-that might be a feature, but it didn't occur when I tapped my pencil-the pencil only seemed to select and then create my pre-created signature or initials. Which is odd because the Check-Box feature is very well done so they are doing context checking. Sort of dumb.Īlso when inserting a field to type in text, it doesn't seem to see the context so it just puts it on the point you touched rather than attempts to align it. I would much rather sign on the document itself as the whole point is to sign and not insert the same exact stored copy of my signature into every document. So if you have the Apple pencil, you cannot use it to sign the document, but to can use it to create a stored signature that is inserted into the document.

Īlso, you haven't specified if you're actually using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or Acrobat Reader DC.īut if you do have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, you may be able to work around this following the steps suggested above. The free Adobe Fill & Sign app lets you fill, sign, and send any form fast.
This allows you to apply different signatures throughout the document. If you want to avoid the signature staying in memory the next time that you're trying to apply an electronic signature, untick "Save Signature", found in the bottom left corner of the signature dialogue box. This will eliminate the issue of your signature kept in memory and associated with that document. You will be able to delete the signature text frame that contains the signature. That is unless you save the document and then you'll be able to right-click on any area of that page, and select "Edit Text" from the context menu. You won't be able to remove the signature because once it is applied it locks the document and it won't allows you to do anything after you click outside the signature box, and click Close to finish the Fill & Sign portion of this wizard. ++Adding to the discussion and the valuable guidance of Akki,
